We are excited to introduce TownshipFuture.  We seek to bring our community together to celebrate our Township’s vibrancy and vision by educating and advocating on key local issues and electing community-minded candidates running for non-partisan offices.  Our goal is to keep The Woodlands Township one of the best communities in the country. 

TownshipFuture loves our hometown—and we’re not alone! The Woodlands is often recognized nationally for our excellence in a number of areas:  

  • The Township is 2nd best place to live in the United States (Niche Magazine, 2020) 
  • The Woodlands Fire Department certified with elite status of ISO 1 (2014-present)
  • National Gold Medal Award Grand Plaque for Excellence (2019) to our Parks and Rec
  • The Woodlands National Night Out is consistently recognized as a national leader

These achievements are not accidental. As a Township, we enjoy a unique form of government that is able to keep taxes especially low and provide a high quality of life by nimbly responding to resident and business needs. Our strong foundation also inspires residents and businesses to support the Township’s many non-profits, houses of worship, local companies and organizations that enrich our lives and provide for those with particular needs.
